We love Squamish and Vancouver; our admiration for these communities runs deep within the veins of our team. We sponsor a number of local teams like Team Squamish, the leading mountain bike team in Canada, and we enjoy supporting local events. Here is a sampling of the community organizations we’ve supported:
Team Squamish is a community-run junior cross-country cycling team that aims to guide young racers to their full potential by providing professional and accredited coaching, from the local level to nationals and beyond.
Running from 10 am – 3 pm every Saturday from April to October for over 15 years, the Squamish Farmers’ Market hosts more than 60 vendors selling everything from fresh produce to local artwork and gifts.
The Squamish Wind Festival for the Arts is the largest free festival in Squamish, hosting a plethora of local musicians and artists with demonstrations, workshops, and amazing live shows.
The Squamish Gardeners Club is made up of over 60 devoted gardeners who meet on the third Monday of each month to discuss their hobby and share their knowledge of sustainable and environmentally-friendly gardening practices with their peers.
Coast Mountain Academy is a Squamish university-preparatory school with a focus on outdoor education. Offering low teacher to student ratios, challenging and rigorous academics, and life-changing experiences in the LEAD program, CMA gives students a unique and powerful education.
The Squamish Street Market is a summer festival running monthly from June to August that showcases many local vendors as well as a craft beer garden, live music, and more entertainment for the whole family.
Squamish Mothers In Business is a local not for profit group that supports mothers in business in the Squamish community
They provide free events for mothers in our community to help showcase, support and create more business exposure for themselves in a professional way. These events range from keynote presentations, panel discussions, and professionally facilitated roundtables.
We’re a team of work hard, play harder kind of people who respect the beautiful nature we get to live and work in. Interested to see more? Follow our daily adventures on Instagram @marwickmarketing:
