"Marwick Marketing was a pleasure to work with. They were professional, prompt and delivered above and beyond our expectations.”
In 2018, the Squamish Wind Festival for the Arts drew a record of 4,000 people downtown to enjoy live performances, participate in interactive workshops, and support local artists at the biggest artisan market Squamish has ever seen.
The results are in… drum roll please… this year the 6th annual Squamish Wind Festival saw over 5,000 people celebrating all that our budding town has to offer. Big kudos go out to the local businesses, the Government of Canada, The Province of British Columbia, the British Columbia Arts Council and the District of Squamish for their tremendous support.
Even bigger kudos go out to the team at Garibaldi Events who coordinated this epic event. After attending it ourselves, it’s no wonder that Garibaldi Events has earned a professional reputation within the Sea to Sky corridor for the work they’ve done managing events in the community, corporate and general event planning sectors.
Marwick Marketing is grateful to have offered additional support through our digital marketing efforts. Our results are in, and we are delighted to share that we greatly contributed to the events’ online reach.

Here’s what Shannon Lorenz had to say about her experience working with Team Marwick,
“Marwick Marketing was a pleasure to work with. They were professional, prompt and delivered above and beyond our expectations.”
Here’s to next year, Squamish Arts Council and Garibaldi Events. There is no doubt in our minds that you’ll draw more and more folks to this free community event that has attendees walking away feeling a little lighter, brighter and inspired.
As Pablo Picasso once said, “the purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.” How very true.
